Pool Time

Memorial Day weekend always starts our summer off with lots of pool time. Of course the pool has been much more difficult this summer with Aly, who is fearless, and Ansley who isn't quite confident enough to really swim on her own. Needless to say, I do not go to the pool alot without someone else. I keep thinking it will be easier next year when I can put floaties on Aly...right now, nothing makes her happy because she hates to be confined in something. Here are some pictures from some of our trips to the pool.

love this pic!

growing up so fast!
Our pool had this big blow-up waterslide one day, Ansley loved it!

And little "Miss" was watching patiently, she really wanted to go down the waterslide :)

End of the Year Class Party

Ansley had a wonderful year at preschool. Ms. Wendy & Ms. Melissa were such great teachers and I really got to know them well since I was the room mom. We can't thank Wendy & Melissa enough for loving Ansley and helping her grow this past year!

Ansley's class at their end of the year party at a near by park. They played games, ate fun snacks & treats and just enjoyed playing on the playground. We also presented the teachers with a special gift to show them how much we appreciated what they did for our children during the year. I was in charge of this and was very happy once it was done!

Here are some pics from the class party. I had to bring Aly along but thankfully one of the teacher's daughter's was there so she helped entertain Aly for me :)

Mother's Day Weekend

We celebrated Mother's day on Saturday this year since Rob and I were going to the Wells Fargo Golf Tournament on Mother's Day. Rob and the girls took me to lunch, we went to "Toast" a great restaurant in downtown Davidson. Afterwards we went across the street to the Davidson Green to see what was going on. They had games, kids dancing, and zoo animals. Ansley LOVED feeding the animals. It was a wonderful day spent together. I took some pictures from our day (so glad I did since I forgot to take any on Mother's Day)

Celebrating Mother's Day at School

Ansley's teachers invited all the moms to come to class early for pick-up because they had something special for us from the kids. I was so nervous I wasn't going to be able to make it since I had a tennis match. I knew if I didn't show up, Ansley would have been really sad! Luckily, I won my match :) and made it to her class in enough time.
