Another Great Weekend in Athens

We headed back to Athens this weekend, and had a great time. The Mautz's came into town so it was nice to see them again. Rob and his dad played golf on Friday while Nan, Ansley and I did some shopping in downtown Athens. They definitely have some great shops that they didn't have when we were there in college.

The game was an early one, Ansley did great, and had fun with her cousin Madison. They were so cute in thier matching outfits Aunt Kelly made. Madison thought it was so funny to pull Ansley's bow out of her hair every time I would put it back on her head. They both are so good with each other; and yet, have such different personalities.

We were happy Georgia came out with another win against Ole Miss and even more happy that we now have a month off from home football games. We love going back to Athens but it can be exhausting at the same time.

We hope everyone had a great weekend!

(All dressed up, and ready for the country club)

GAME DAY ... GO DAWGS!!!

Ansley's 9 Month Check Up

Ansley turned 9 months yesterday, and we had her check up today. It went really well. She is 19 lbs 11oz. (55th percentile, dropped from her 6 month check up), and she is 29 inches long (in the 90th percentile).

She is pulling up on everything and cruising around objects. She even discovered the stairs yesterday! She should be walking by her 12 month check up :)

"It's Great To Be A Georgia Bulldog"

We had a great weekend, Nana and Pop-Pop came to visit :) Rob and I had a church orientation class to go to on Saturday so Nana and Pop-Pop watched Ansley for us. And then we cheered on the dawgs against Alabama, thankfully to a victory!

(Ansley was being so silly, everytime she saw the red flashing light on the camera she would stop and smile. Looks like no more candid shots for us, unless I can take it really fast!)

Thanks Nana & Pop-Pop for watching Ansley, we love you!

The Georgia Aquarium

While we were home, Nana & Pop-Pop took Kelly, Madison, Ansley and I to the Georgia Aquarium. We had such a great time, there is just so much to see! Ansley didn't really know what to think about it all, but it wore her out! I think she was more fascinated with the people there and the glass tanks :) But Ansley enjoyed herself so much she passed out as soon as we walked out the door to go home!
Thanks Nana & Pop-Pop for taking us to the Aquarium. We can't wait to go again when Ansley is a little bigger.

Busy, Busy, Busy

We decided to go to Atlanta after the SC game, which was nice. It is always so great to go back home and to spend time with friends and family. Since Anlsey is crawling, she now can play with Madison which is so fun :)

Getting into Nana's hand towel drawer

We had a playdate with Candice, Heidi Cay, Madison and Kelly. The girls were so cute! Madison and Heidi Cay were two peas in a pod. And Ansley just crawled after them and LOVED playing with Heidi Cay's toys. I definitely need to buy Ansley some new toys...

We also had a playdate at the Northpointe Mall playarea with Lisa, Max, Kelly, Madison, Jessica & her twin boys (Ashton and Jackson). The kids played everywhere and definitely wore themselves out!

A Sad Day In Athens

We went back to Athens for the Georgia vs. South Carolina game. We had a great weekend, except for the game :( Willis, Sarah, and Candice came up on Friday night and we had "Girls Night Out" while Rob watched Ansley, which was very nice! We had a great time!!! Saturday we got up and got ready for a long day of tailgating. Ansley looked so cute, she wore the dress her Aunt Kelly made for her, just too precious! As always, Ansley did so good during the tailgate, just talking up a storm and playing with everyone. This was the first time she met Mr. Jamie and Mr. Dave. ...... Unfortunately the dawgs couldn't pull out a win, and there is nothing worse then loosing to Steve Spurrier :(

Here are some pics form the weekend

It's time for some GA Football!

First, we have to say GOOOOOO DAWGS!!!!! We are very happy Georgia won thier first game of the season and what a great weekend it was in Athens...

Friday, was my birthday so we decided to head up to Athens in the early afternoon. Uncle Matt and Chelsea were so sweet to watch Ansley while Rob and I went to Bissetts for dinner. It was great! It was nice for mommy and daddy to have a quiet dinner out together. When we got home, Ansley was sound a sleep cuddled up to her Uncle Boo (Matt). Such a precious sight, and ofcourse I had to take a picture.

being silly in the bath

Saturday, was the game and we tailgated with my parents. It was fun to get Ansley all dressed up to tailgate, all decked out in her red & black. She was "all smiles", as always! Ansley was such a trooper, it was a long day of tailgating but she did amazing! She was definitely wiped out by the time the game started. Once everyone left for the game, Ansley and I headed back to Rob's parent's place while he went to the game. We are very fortunate that Nan & Greg have a place in Athens, we can enjoy hanging out with everyone before the game and then we have a nice place to go and watched the game.

GO DAWGS!!!

It was a great family weekend and we look forward to a lot more in Athens!
