The pics to the left were from the waiting room at the dr. office
Yesterday, we had Ansley's one year checkup. It went ok, I guess?.... She screamed as soon as we were called back to the room. She would barely sit still long enough for them to weigh her and measure her height. Rob and I finally got her calmed down with some cheerios and then she did pretty good with the doctor until it was time for her shots! Poor thing, it took 4 of us to hold her down (she is very strong). She got 3 shots and they took a good amount of blood from her arm. They are going to do an allergy test to see if she is still allergic to dairy. We should know the results by the middle of next week. So for now, we have just moved from soy formula to soy milk, and it has gone great! But we pray she has out grown her dairy allergy and will not have any others so we can feed her normal foods.
Here are the latest stats for Ansley:
Weight: 20lbs, 12oz (47th percentile) ... she dropped from 55%
Height: 30 1/4 inches (79th percentile).... dropped from 90%
Ansley is doing so many new things lately. She is on the verge of speed walking. She has gained the confidence in walking and will walk from one place to another but she still isn't full on walking yet. We are VERY close :) .... She plays peek a boo, but she just covers one eye, HA! And we finally taught her to clap. She claps with one hand still and moves the other, kind of like a high society clap, it is too funny!
On a not so happy note, Ansley has become very upset when she is in unfamiliar places. She doesn't like strangers either. So she is going through the whole stranger anxiety thing, which isn't fun at all! Hopefully this will pass soon.
Just thought I would update you on our little one year old. Hope you are all doing well.

Glad Ansley's appointment went pretty well. Sounds like she is going to be a skinny little girl like her mom.
I will pray that she is finally over the milk allergy. She will be a much a happier person.
Love ya,
Kel
