Another Snow Day!!!

To our surprise this morning we woke up to 2 1/2 inches of snow! YEAH!!! I was so excited to get Ansley out in it. Of course there was no talk last night by the weatherman about us getting snow, just the mountains. I really think anyone could be a weather man and predict the weather as well as the news people.....
Anyways, unlike the last time we got snow, Ansley absolutely hated the snow today! She screamed when we put her in the snow. She couldn't even feel the snow nor was she wet because I layered her in lots of clothing. But she just didn't like it at all!!! I really do not think she understands what it is.
Unfortunately, most the snow melted by the end of the day. Here are some pictures from our snow adventure. Rob got to play outside with us since his trip to the mountains got cancelled due to the icy roads.

looking at all the snow outside

not too sure about this white stuff!

there's a little smile (notice the tear running down her face)

another smile...but just for a second

Ansley would not move from this spot, which is the same spot Rob put her when they went outside

I have had enough!!!

Tonight we celebrated Rob's birthday by opening cards and presents. Ansley was very proud of the card she made for her daddy! We then went to Five Guys for dinner, YES, this is what Rob wanted for his birthday dinner....I didn't complain! We then came home, put Ansley to bed, and then enjoyed some cake! (we didn't even try to give Ansley a piece of cake because we know she would have refused it)

Here are some sweet pictures of Ansley showing off her card to Rob and then ending with a daddy/daughter kiss :) Happy 30th Birthday Rob!

Here you go daddy! I made it with help from mommy :)Look, let me read it too you!

Well, y'all probably won't ever have to worry about her 'trying out funny looking cigarettes' and such....she does NOT try new things easily. Not a bad thing!!! Even so, she looks precious smiling/crying in her cute snow bunny outfit!! Love the pics of her with Rob.....they are so blessed to have such a wonderful relationship. Something I envy not having a good one with my daddy.

I love that she is such a Daddy's girl. I think it is so sweet when you see a Daddy's heart literally melting with their daughter! Also I didn't tell you but I think those paintings are amazing & your photos always look like a photographer lives at your house! Pretty soon we will see you on the cover of Domestic Goddess magazine! ;-)

I love seeing Ansley love her Daddy so much, how precious. Jay can't wait for the day when MK does that and stops being a mama's girl. I also love Ansley's precious haircut/hairstyle. She always has a cute little bow. I love the bit about cake-we don't offer it either.
