My mom stayed the first week Aly was home, and then Mimi arrived and stayed for another week to help us out. While Mimi was here she kept Ansley busy :) They did some baking, which Ansley loved. First, they made chocolate peanut butter ritz crackers, YUM!!! They taste exactly like girl scout cookies and they are super easy to make. Ansley would spread the peanut butter on the ritz cracker, then mash another cracker onto it while Mimi dipped it in melted chocolate. You can definitely say this was a hit ....Next, they made rice krispy treats. I think Ansley's favorite part was licking the rice krispies off of the spoon :)
Mimi brought with her a bag full of fun arts and crafts for Ansley to do. She made her very own wind chime, and decorated a mask. The wind chime came out great and we even hung it in our porch so we can see it daily.
Another fun thing Mimi and Ansley would do was play golf. Ansley ABSOLUTELY loves to play golf in the backyard. She has managed to learn to hit the golf ball using the backend of the golf club. Ansley is left-handed and since everything is made for right-handed people she teaches herself in a way that she can play. She is actually really good at hitting the golf ball :)
Finally, this is a very happy girl who got her fingernails painted for the first time! Thank you Mimi :)
