Breakfast with Santa 2009

Last Saturday we headed to our church for the annual Breakfast with Santa. I had to be there super early to help with setting up since my mom's group puts this on each year. But Rob came a little later with Ansley, and Mimi and Pop's. We had an amazing turnout and raised over $1000 for the family we adopted this year for Christmas.
Ansley has been so excited to see Santa Claus and to tell him exactly what she wants for Christmas.... " a doll house"! She did great when it was her turn, she was a little hesitant but Santa started singing songs to her and she warmed right up. She couldn't stop talking about Santa. Glad the days of her screaming at Santa are over... well at least for now!

Ansley's turn...

she kept twirling her hair... I guess a nervous habit

Gingerbread House

This year Ansley and I attempted a gingerbread house. I bought one of those kits and thought it would be easy, NOPE! We got it all decorated and literally within 10 minutes of being finished with it, it collapsed. I couldn't believe it and was completely over it and left it the way it was. Needless to say it was the saddest gingerbread house ever... and found its home in the trash by the next day!

Picking out our Christmas Tree

A couple of weekends ago we headed out to find the perfect tree. We love going to the same Christmas Tree Farm each year.... This year it was very cold, and actually felt like Christmas. We were the only ones there, literally, since it was in the middle of the day on a Friday. But the nice owners were great, they gave us hot cider and Ansley got a reindeer cookie (she was in heaven).... We definitely got a fresh tree because it drinks so much water that we have to fill it up atleast twice a day. I guess I shouldn't complain!

We are THANKFUL ...

We have so much to be thankful for this year. After trying for a year and half to have another baby, we were blessed with the greatest gift! We can't not wait for our family to expand to a family of 4. We are also thankful for our families love and support, they are always there to help us out whenever we need it. And to our friends, who have been there for us during our trials of not being able to getting pregnant and to now sharing in our joy of this pregnancy... Thank you!!!

The week of Thanksgiving started off a little rough because Rob was sick and we weren't sure if he was going to be able to come to Athens. Thankfully, after dealing with a fever off and on for 4 days, it finally broke and he was fever free. So we headed to Athens and enjoyed time with the Mautz family and watched lots and lots of football. It is always so nice to go to Athens when all the students are gone... a lot less hectic. We took Ansley to North Campus and got some pics for our Christmas card and then walked down to the stadium. Of course, Ansley didn't understand why we couldn't actually go down into the stadium. She loves her Georgia Bulldogs, even when they aren't playing very well. But thankfully, they pulled off a great win against Tech!!!

Thank you Mimi & Pop's for such a great Thanksgiving. And thank you for watching Ansley for us so we could go out to dinner and a movie :)

UGA/Aubrun Game

Sorry I am little late on posting this one, but last weekend we headed back to Athens for the Georgia/Auburn game. We really didn't know what to expect out of the game, but so thankful we pulled out the win!!!! GO DAWGS!!!
We tailgated with my parents for this game since Aunt Kelly & Uncle Brent were going to be in town. It was the perfect weather for tailgating. Ansley had a great time and always loves playing with Aunt Kelly. And as usual, Rob headed to the game with his dad while Mimi and I went back to the house with Ansley. I never mind going back to the house, because I much rather be in my pj's, sitting on the couch, and watching the game :)

Here are some pics from our weekend

Augusta

Last week, Ansley had off of school for Veternan's Day so we thought it was the perfect time to make a trip down to Augusta to visit Willis and baby Sam. It took a little while for Ansley to get use to Sam, but they did really well together. Sam is the most laid back child, and just smiles all the time! We also visited the Alfriends in Thomson while we were close by. Even though it rained the whole time we still had a great time visiting with friends!!!

When we got home from Augusta, Ansley was running around with daddy and fell on her bottom on one of her princess shoes. She was screaming bloody-murder. Rob yells at me to come down and see Ansley, it was hysterical!!!! I was on the phone with my mom at the time and told her what Ansley was doing... so ofcourse, I had to take a picture. Ansley is going to hate me for this one later in life :)

A Sneak-Peek of Baby Mautz

Most of you already know, but today we found out we are having another GIRL!!! Yes, we can't believe it and thought for sure it was going to be a boy this time. But we are thrilled to add another girl to the Willson/Mautz family and even happier that she looks great and healthy. I am 18 weeks and 2 days and it looks like she is still expected to arrive around April 3rd (right before Easter).
I scanned 2 of the pictures from our ultrasound so you can have a sneak-peek of our little girl:

(below) not sure if you can tell, but she has her foot in her mouth....it was pretty funny!
