I am Seven Months Old Today, YEAH!

Today I turned 7 months. I am amazing mommy and daddy everyday. They are wanting me to crawl, which I am soooooooo close, if I could just figure out that my hands have to move. My feet are already moving, so for now, I am just getting a good leg workout :)

Mommy put me in an outfit my Mimi made for me, isn't it pretty?! The skirt to the onesie is made from hankerchiefs. I love playing with the skirt....Thanks Mimi!

Nice long trip home to Atlanta

We went back to Atlanta for about a week. As always it was great to see everyone, especially my parents (Nana & Pop-Pop), Kelly, Madison and Brent! While we were there, we got to celebrate Madison's 1st Birthday and Birthday party. It was GREAT!!! She absolutely LOVES to be the center of attention so the party was so fun. I have never seen a little girl eat as much cake has her and was unhappy when it was taken away. She definitely has a sweet tooth :)

We also loved getting to catch up with all our friends. It has been way too long! Hopefully we will get to see you all again soon. And you are always welcome to come stay with us whenever, we would love visitors.

Trip to Myrtle Beach

We decided to take off a couple of days and go to Myrtle Beach, it is only 3 1/2 hours from us. It was great to get away and just relax. Ansley did great sleeping in her pack n' play and sleeping in a completely strange place. However, Rob and I did not get a lot of sleep and the hotel was just aweful, very noisy! Needless to say, we will not be staying there again.

This was Ansley's first trip to the beach, she did not like the ocean at all, so we ended up dipping her in the pool to cool off and then heading back to the beach to lay out.

We had visitors!

We have been busy the last couple of days, we had visitors! YEAH!!!! Our friends Candice, Heidi Cay, Sarah and Emma Kate came to see our new home. We had so much fun. It was funny to see the house look like a tornado came through within seconds. The ages of the girls ranged from 19 months to 6 months. So it was interesting to see how they all acted, but they did great together!Ansley just sat alot of the time watching and taking it all in. She is such the observer :)

Thanks Girls for coming to visit, it meant a lot to us!

Happy 4th of July

We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July! We had a nice relaxing day. We went to our neighborhood pool for a cookout and some fun in the sun. Ansley absolutely loves the pool, we even dunked her for the first time. She did great! She was a little shocked by going under the water at first, but didn't cry so we knew she would be okay with it.

We had hoped to go see some fireworks, but Ansley wouldn't take an afternoon nap. So Rob and I watched fireworks from our front porch while Ansley was a sleep in her bed. Times have definitely changed :)

Summer Days

These are just some pictures of Ansley from the past couple of weeks. She so enjoys playing in her turtle pool in the backyard. She is also a goof-ball and seriously entertains Rob and I all the time.

We love to splash in the water, there is no chance of staying dry if you are near Ansley when she begins to splash.
