I wanted to play around with my new camera and wanted to get some fun photos, so Ansley put her tutu on and decided to put on a show for me :) I got some really cute pics....
There is a lot I want to be able to do with the camera but haven't figured it out yet (if anyone knows how to focus on the subject and have the background blurred, please let me know...I have the Nikon D40, but I am not sure if this is something you do in photoshop or with the camera).

Love the new pics of Miss Priss! I can't believe she loves to wear her tutu now...she use to hate that thing!
Hey, those are cute pics!! Has she tried on her orange tutu..... too?? She could layer the two and really be FLY!!! Ha! Keep the pics coming! love, Mimi
How stinking cute! The pictures turned out great. What camera did you get? Ansley is a doll.
Absolutely Adorable!!!! She is definitely your girlie girl!! I wish I could help you on the camera!
hey jen,
it is not photoshop that blurs the picture, its the camera. try going outside. it does not work as well when you are indoors.
what lenses did you get? the contrast between the foreground and background are most dramatic when i am outside. i use my 55-200mm lens and stand back and zoom close.
i am also waiting on the 55mm lens, this is supposed to be great for that.
e-mail me if you have any questions. i did end up buying a photoshop book and it has very easy, step-by-step instructions that help without a lot of techniques.
where did you get the adorable tutu? i have been looking everywhere for one!
Katie, I can't remember who gave us the pink tutu, it may have been my mom. We have an orange & purple one too. I will be sure to ask my mom and Rob's mom where they found them...
I do know the children's boutique down the street from me has them. You may want to check out boutiques. I am sure Koo Koo Bears in Roswell has them.
