Beautiful Weather

We are still loving this gorgeous weather we have been having. Everyday we try and get outside with Ansley for at least a little while; however, we usually end up staying outside from the time she wakes up from her nap until dinner time. You can't get this girl inside once she is outside, she absolutely LOVES to be outside.

Here are some more pics of Ansley playing in the backyard. I decided to bring out our baby pool and fill it up with the balls I bought for her birthday party. I stuck the slide in it, and to her, this was the greatest thing ever!

I also hosted a playdate at my house for my MOMS group, (this group of first-time moms meet once a month at night at our church to talk about mommy topics and get advice from one another, it has been a great support group) we had it outside. We all figured there was no reason to not enjoy the beautiful 80 degree weather. It turned out really good, and the kids seemed to have alot of fun.

lots of falls

In the past couple of days, Ansley has fallen a lot. Ofcourse, she is fearless, which is not a good thing and thinks she can do anything. The other day, she tried to stand in her plastic chair and tipped over and busted her lip on the hardwoods. So she had a nice fat lip! .... Then yesterday, she was running down the driveway and gravity took her forward with her face hitting the concrete first. She is a mess! (Ansley is doing find and actually got over the fall pretty fast, she was ready to play in the backyard on her slide within minutes of falling).

I know falling comes with walking, but it scares me everytime. I always think the worse when she falls, but thankfully none of them have been too bad. Here is Ansley with her scraped up face (this was right after it happened, it looks worse now).

enjoying the outdoors

I was playing around with the effects of the pic above

Ansley thinks that when you say "put your sunglasses on", they go around her neck?

"watch dadda (dadda is what she calls me), I can go down by myself"

playdate at the park

My friend Jenna lives in a great neighborhood with lots of fun parks. So we always go over to thier neighborhood to play at the many parks....One of the parks is called the sandbox and it is completley fenced in, which is nice, since my child likes to escape the other parks. Jenna & her son, Treyton, joined us at the sandbox. Ansley and Treyton had a blast! They really didn't care too much for the actual sandbox but loved all the other toys that were there. Here are some pics from the "sandbox."

Golf Anyone?

Ansley loves to play with her daddy's golf club. It is the first thing she grabs when we go outside to play. It is so much bigger then she is, but she just loves it. Since she likes golf clubs, I figured I would try and find her a plastic set more her size. I was so happy to find a set, it is so cute! When I brought it home for Ansley she got so excited, but she still seems to rather play with daddy's golf clubs outside and plays with hers inside....Go figure! (no pics of the plastic set, but I will get some and post)

mommy's little helper

Ansley is obsessed with the vaccum cleaner and dust buster, not sure why, but she just is. Any time I am using either one she comes running to see me in action. Here is our little helper dust busting the kitchen floor.....Can you see her excitement!?!

Silly Girls!

Kel forwarded some pictures she took of Maddie and Ansley being silly. They get along so well and hopefully will continue to enjoy playing with one another. Just thought I would share.
